About the Department

Introduction

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established with the mission to educate students from all over India and other countries, including those from rural areas, so that they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their Families, Industry and Society.

CSE shares the mission and vision of the institute in imparting high quality education to the students. First, it is ensured that the student perceives the computer fundamentals thoroughly. Besides fulfilling the requirements of the syllabus prescribed by the University, the program offers students the opportunity to work on diverse hardware and software platforms.

About the Department

Introduction

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in R&D, in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers by hard work.

Our mission is to develop innovative and simple instructional material to drive the concepts into the minds of students and infuse scientific temper in the students and guide them towards research in communication engineering. Also to grow a committed group of competent teachers striving for excellence, be it in teaching or research and to develop Collaborative Research and Development linkages with leading organizations in India and abroad.

Introduction

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of IVSIT is set in lush greenery. Drawing upon IVS Group's tradition of teaching excellence, the Department of EEE with skilled faculty and over 200 students works closely together in an open, collegial atmosphere. With UPTU's curriculum, the Department places equal emphasis on theoretical and experimental electrical and electronics engineering.

Our Mission is to educate students from all over India, including those from the local and rural areas, so that they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society. We provide individual attention and world class quality of education. The EEE Department has been organizing many symposium, guest lectures and the IEEE Chapter. The Department has well equipped facilities like Standard labs and a Seminar hall.

About the Department

Introduction

In the Department of Information Technology our Mission is to provide quality education to the students and impart IT excellence in them. Apart from making them good technocrats, we also provide individual attention to make them good citizens of our nation to serve the industry and society constructively.

Drawing upon IVS Group's tradition of teaching excellence, the Department with skilled faculty members and 150+ students work closely together in an open, collegial atmosphere. With UPTU's curriculum, the Department places equal emphasis on theoretical and experimental Information Technology. The Department has the state-of-the-art facilities for various labs, well equipped Seminar halls, class rooms to support e-learning and a Department library.

Department Library

The department has a departmental library consisting of nearly 1400 books covering a wide range of subjects. The library also keeps all the previous students’ project reports and sets of previous year’s university question papers. The library has several Journals that include ACM Transactions on Database Systems, Software Engineering and Methodology, Operating Systems and Programming Languages, ACM Computing Surveys, International Journal for Neural Systems and Computational Intelligence and Applications, Software Engineering notes, Operating System review, Computer Communication review and Computer Architecture news.

Introduction

Department of mechanical engineering has been functioning as a supporting department since the inception of the college. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is established as a full fledged department offering B.E course from the year 2005. The mission of the department is to educate students to become globally competent.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering shares the mission and vision of the institution in imparting quality education to the students. The department has a committed, highly experienced and motivated team of faculty members.
